Located inside Marlowe General in downtown Kitchener, Jess Amber Hair is committed to creating a space where you can feel comfortable getting your hair done and confident when you walk out the door. Jessica has 15 years of industry experience from being behind the chair day to day, to sharing knowledge with other budding stylists.

Outside of work Jessica is usually hanging out with her partner and their cat while playing videos games or watching movies. Being outside in the veggie garden is also a hobby of hers.

With package pricing everything is super transparent for you as a client. No need to book separate highlights, root melt, toner etc. No up charges, no add ons. Lightening Services

Mini Blonding

Express partial blending service. Best as a refresh for an existing lightened base, highlights around the hairline for that ultimate money piece or ponytail detail, gloss, root melt & haircut + blow-dry. (For existing clients, approx 8-10 weeks since last appt) 2.5h - $212.50 + tax

Modern Blonding/ Brunette

A “lived in blonde” customized placement or dimensional brunette colour (sometimes known as bronde), gloss, root melt, & haircut + blow-dry. 3.5h - $297.50 + tax

Ultimate Blonding

Extreme blonde placement leaving no hair untouched (can be dimensional still) or an over all blonding session, gloss, root melt & haircut + blow-dry. Best for clients who have no previous lightening done and are looking for a big transformation. 5h - $425.00 + tax

Colour Services

Custom Haircut

Haircut only service no colour included. 1h - $85.00 + tax

Root retouch/ grey coverage

Excellent for regrowth tough up 1” or less on a solid colour (not platinum blonde retouch) & haircut + blow-dry. 2h - $170.00 + tax

Solid colour

Fresh full solid colour application from regrowth to ends, haircut + blow-dry. (Does not include platinum blonde) 2.5h - $212.50 + tax

Vivid Creative Colour

Creative colours vary in time depending on starting canvas and the desired result. This service is booked differently than my package pricing. I book 1/2 days to full days. Completed consultation form required for booking and pricing.

Malibu C Wellness Detox Treatments

Malibu C offers solutions when it comes to our hair and water. Minerals can be found in water which is an oxidizer and when it latches onto our hair it can wreak havoc. Mineral build up due to hard/ well water, product and medication can create a barrier on your hair that doesn’t allow colour or lightener to penetrate properly. It can also lead to brassiness (sometimes green hues as well) clogged hair follicles as well as very tangle dry, dull and brittle hair.

Below are some Malibu C treatments I offer to help whatever problem you may be experiencing.

All Malibu C treatments include a 45 minute Crystal Gel in salon treatment followed by a Miracle Repair conditioning treatment with a hot towel wrap and custom haircut. 1h +45min - $148.75 + tax
